Jim Dickson is a nationally recognized speaker on a number of subjects relating to the business of human performance enhancement and training. In his 25-plus years in training and education, he has coached, consulted, and offered development opportunities to a number of business leaders and managers on subjects ranging from change and diversity to leadership and employment law. Jim presents seminars and workshops internationally on subjects such as motivation, customer service, team building, diversity, management development, interpersonal communications, presentation and training mastery, and behavioral interviewing. Jim’s engaging and participant-focused presentation style places him as one of the premier presenters today.
Jim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Ball State University. Prior to his entrance into the business world, Jim was a history and political science teacher for 5 years. Jim also holds his Master’s Degree in Adult Education from Indiana University. Additionally, Jim holds many designations in management such as Associate in Management (AIM) from the Insurance Institute of America.
For 20 years, Jim served as the Training and Development Manager for American States Insurance Company. During those years, Jim worked internally with officers and leaders of the company to develop their management and leadership skills and to formulate development plans and interventions for both employees and agents. Upon forming Equis Consulting (Jim is a managing partner), Jim expanded his influence to other industries and clients. His client base includes SAFECO Insurance Companies, Consorta, Lincoln Financial Group, Swiss ReInsurance, Credit Union Association of America, USA Group, Trimedx Healthcare Equipment Services, and Trader.com.
Jim is a member of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and the American Management Association. Jim also serves on the Board of Directors of a number of Indiana not-for-profit agencies, and is a past non-commissioned training officer for the U.S. Army.

Tom Meier is a human resource consultant with more than 15 years experience in the areas of organizational and employee development. His areas of expertise include career management, leadership development, personality assessment, and organizational change. He has successfully managed a regional career center and was involved in coordinating outplacement services for several national downsizing initiatives. In addition, Tom’s client service background has ranged from workshop facilitation for large groups to providing individualized career management services for executive, management, and staff level employees.
Tom holds a B.S.W. degree from Indiana University. He is a qualified administrator of the Strong Interest Inventory, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and has received certification as a Career and Job Transition Coach through the Career Planning and Adult Development Network. In addition, Tom is qualified to deliver Lominger "Career Architect" products and Personnel Decisions International "Profilor" 360 degree feedback instrument.
Industries he has served include insurance, banking, healthcare, manufacturing, service and not-for-profits. Clients Tom has served internally as an H.R. staff member or externally as an associate of consulting organizations, in part, include Bank One, Farm Bureau Insurance, Lincoln National Insurance, Swiss ReInsurance, Trimedx Healthcare Equipment Services, Trader.com and Eli Lilly and Company.
Tom is a member of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and currently serves as the Career Management sub-committee chair. He also serves on the International Association of Career Management Professionals (IACMP) Board as First Vice President and Past President.

Ron Cripe is a human resource consultant with more than 15 years experience in the areas of organizational and employee development. His areas of expertise include writing, design, and production of marketing and instructional media.
He has successfully managed a training and development media center and was involved in coordinating several large corporate-wide communication initiatives. In addition, Ron is a managing partner at Equis Consulting and is involved in the day-to-day operations of this fast growing business.
